This is a wonderful site full of information about bicycling in Japan. The site creators clearly love cycling--I think this site will prove to be invaluable as we plan our own trip.
Start with the Touring FAQ page--it's filled with great links, especially to reviews, techniques, and guides created by a very active touring community.
